Here we are, at the start of yet another blog. Hopefully this will be helpful and entertaining to a lot of you.

Of course introductions are in order. My name is Edwin van der Thiel, and have been working with technology for a while. I started with Linux and Windows infrastructure management and networking, growing through scripting and automation to become an expert in systems architecture.

Due to my love for automation I switched to software development, from PHP and app development to a .Net specialist.

Currently my interests lie with Web API, angularJS, Federated Identity and Azure. And hopefully some babylonJS and unity3d when time permits.

To top it off, when I’m not working with technology I am active as a capoeira instructor, salsa and bachata dancer and studying Brazilian Portuguese.
